How do I get there if I am driving myself?
From Ottawa:
1. Take the 417 East
2. Exit at Highway 34 North (turn left)
3. Take Highway 34 North into Vankleek Hill
4. At the lights, turn left on Main Street (County Rd 10)
5. Vankleek Hill Fairgrounds is on the left at 92 Main Street West!
From Cornwall:
1. Take the 138 North to the 417 East
2. Exit the 417 at Highway 34 North (turn left)
3. Take Highway 34 North into Vankleek Hill
4. At he lights, turn left on Main Street (County Rd 10)
5. Vankleek Hill Fairgrounds is on the left at 92 Main Street West!
From Montreal:
1. Take the 40 Ouest towards Ontario
2. Contine on the 40 Ouest as it turns into the 417 West
3. Exit at Barb Rd/Chemin Barb (County Rd 10)
4. Go west on Barb Rd/Chemin Barb (County Rd 10)
5. As you drive into Vankleek Hill, Barb Rd turns into Main Street.
6. Drive through the lights, Vankleek Hill Fairgrounds is on the left at 92 Main Street West!
How do the buses from Ottawa work?
Bus tickets must be purchased in advance and cost $30. This price includes admission to Oktoberfest (plus the hat, drink and pretzel)
Bus pickup location is behind Perkins Restaurant (1130 St. Laurent Blvd at Coventry), right beside St. Laurent Shopping Centre and within close proximity of the St. Laurent Transitway top.
Buses will depart from Ottawa continuously between..
• 11am-3pm and 4pm-6pm on Friday
• 10am-2pm on Saturday
• and 10am-2pm on Sunday.
Buses leave from Vankleek Hill between...
• 7pm-10pm on Friday
• 6pm-9pm on Saturday
• and 4pm-6pm on Sunday.
• There will be two dropoff locations, St. Laurent and Centretown.
How accessible is your event?
there are no stairs however, it is an outdoor festival with grass and gravel and should it happen to rain... mud! Wheelchair accessible bathrooms on site.
Will tickets be available on site?
For Friday and Sunday only. Saturday has sold out in advance, and no tickets for Saturday will be available on site.
Where Can I buy my ticket?
Tickets are available for purchase at Beau's Brewery (10 Terry Fox Drive, Vankleek Hill), at all Bridgehead Coffee locations and online at http://www.beaus.ca/store/oktoberfest-tickets
Advance purchase of tickets is highly recommended to avoid disappointed. The last two years have sold out so please order early.
When are the ticket sales deadlines?
Bus ticket deadline is Sept 28th at 11:59pm.
Online General admission tickets can be purchased up until 11:59pm of the day before.
General admission tickets will be available at the gate, if any remain. Saturday is sold out, so there will be no tickets for Saturday available at the gate.
Are children admitted free?
Really little children (as in stroller-bound) and babes-in-arms are free, but they will not get a free hat, pretzel or drink token. Children’s tickets are $5. A child is anyone under 19.
Can I leave from and come back to the festival?
Yes! You are given a wristband and we encourage you to explore the town of Vankleek Hill while you are visiting with us.
Where can I park?
You can park on the fairgrounds for free.
Are concerts cancelled when it is raining?
Unless there’s lightening or high winds the show will go on!
Is there seating at the main stage?
Main stage is visible from all the beer tents but bring a lawn chair if you’d like to get a front row seat.
Will there be ATM machines on site?
Yes, and there are two banks with 24/7 ATM access in the town of Vankleek Hill within walking distance of the festival site.
Will there be First Aid stations on site?
The Red Cross will be at Oktoberfest for the entirety of the festival
Is there a lost and found?
Yes, you can drop off and claim lost and found items at the Beau's Merch booth at the main entrance.
Will there be food /beverage vendors on site?
Oh Yeah! An assortment of non-alcoholic beverages will be available as well as a wide array of Bavarian themed food options.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, by all means. Please bring along your own cup or water bottle to refill on site. Please place your recyclables in the appropriate recycling bins on site and minimize the amount of garbage you leave behind.
Will there be toilets and hand-wash stations available on site?
Sure will be!
Will there be an information booth?
No, but there will be helpful Beau’s staff and volunteers waiting to assist you. There will also be a free site map.

What should I wear?
Bring a sweater! and check the weather because if it rains you’ll wish you had your flashy boots! remember you’ll be in a field in the middle of the country side. There are lots of covered areas/tents on site but consider a bringing a rain jacket, umbrella,
What items are prohibited on site?
Any outside alcohol. All drugs and illegal substances, firearms, knives and other weapons. There will be security guards and police officers to help keep us all safe! NO PETS.
Are there accommodations available?
There is rough camping on site if you arrive with a tent, camper or RV. Please note there are no power or water hookups.

Where are the best places to go after the fest closes in the evening?
The Official Oktoberfest After Party is at The Windsor Tavern located at 84 Main Street. Friday and Saturday nights only.
How much does beer cost?
$4 a glass(12oz compostable cup). Purchased through tokens on site.
Where is the bus launch/drop-off located?
Bus pickup location is behind Perkins Restaurant (1130 St. Laurent Blvd at Coventry), right beside St. Laurent Shopping Centre and within close proximity of the St. Laurent Transitway top.
Buses will return from Vankleek Hill between 8pm-11pm on Friday, 7pm-10pm on Saturday, and 5pm-7pm on Sunday. There will be two dropoff locaions, St. Laurent and Centretown (Elgin Street at Sparks Street).
