Be a fairgrounds all-star in one (or many) of OKTOBERFEST's epic events. Back by popular demand are the classics such as the Keg Toss, Spouse Carrying Race, Sausage Eating Competition, Malt Sack Races and the Sauerkraut Cook-Off, plus we've introduced a new event - the Stein Holding Struggle
Prizes? Oh Yeah! Of course there are prizes. Winners will receive Beau's gift certificates, a cool medal and have their name engraved on the Beau's cup for all of eternity!

Sweet! Your shot to successfully show off your sister's secret sauerkraut recipe! Bring your best sauerkraut, precooked, in three 1 x litre containers. The public as well as our judges will be sampling small portions of each to determine the winner. Samples will be provided for free for public voting on a first come first served basis each day.

Last year saw over 100 competitors come to try and out-toss fellow Beau’s fans for a crack at the trophy, brewery prizes and of course bragging rights. This year, try for new categories including height, distance, and keg-stacking! Open to Men and Women. Come on out and show off to your friends.

A new event that will truly test your endurance! Competitors will hold out a FULL Beau's beer stein at arms length. Last stein standing gets the trophy.

It's become an instant classic since its inaugural running last year. The rules? Competitors race through our obstacle course while carrying their teammate. Persons being carried must wear a helmet. All participants must have fun. Spouses need not be legally married, however, they are encouraged to share in a victory kiss on the winner's platform. The prize? A gift certificate to the brewery equal to the weight of the teammate being carried. Sweet!

OKTOBERFEST doesn't just cater to the big kids (this means you, grown-ups). The little ones will love Kinderfest, a non-licensed family area chock full of awesome activities and entertainment. DooDoo The Clown will be up to his usual antics that are sure to have your kids enthralled and inspired. This year there'll be a kids parade, giant castle building area, malt sack races, Pumpkin Painting, Cider and Dumplings, and introducing... Ray's Reptile Zoo!

DooDoo began performing in 1980 and he has thrilled and amazed thousands of children and adults alike while performing at festivals, fairs, trade shows, and private parties. His unique talents have taken him all over the world, He also has a reputation for being the fastest balloon animal maker, fastest taler, but most of all, he loves to make people laugh!
